Club Incubator

In patnership with USA Fencing, Fencing Ventures is excited to offer the USA Fencing Club Incubator Program to the USA Fencing community.

The Goal

The goal is simple – to help grow the sport of fencing in the United States by bringing it to new communities.

How It Works

Starting a Fencing Club is hard. It takes capital investment, a background in sales and marketing, accounting knowledge, web and graphic design skills, legal expertise, and much more.

Growing a fencing club is even harder. In addition to running classes and traveling to tournaments, you now have to bill customers, answer emails, pay utility bills, keep accurate books, deal with insurance, navigate taxes, and much more.

Being a great fencing coach has nothing to do with any of the above activities.  In fact, many fencing coaches go into coaching because they simply want to coach and not get bogged down with admin work.

That’s where we come in.

Our Club Incubator program partners with qualified coaches and guides you through the startup process and beyond to ensure your success. We help you become a business owner, make an initial investment, and handle all the boring stuff. This allows fencing coaches to focus their efforts on what they do best – coaching fencing!

You get to be a business owner, teach the sport you love, and limit your office hours.

That’s awesome.

  • Drafting the operating agreement
  • Procuring insurance and other liability necessities
  • Setting up banking, payroll, and billing systems

Growth Mode

The Club Incubator program doesn’t stop after launch. We continue to support our coaches in growing their clubs significantly faster than a typical fencing club.

Here are just some of the ways you’ll reap the benefits once your club is established:
